KosherMart is a family-owned business established by the Yitzhaky family in 1999, with its first and former location on Rollins Avenue in Rockville, Maryland.
Dedicated to providing the Jewish community with quality kosher foods, the Yitzhaky family expanded its inventory to include prepared foods, kosher wines, baked goods, in addition to its already wide selection of kosher meats, poultry, fish, as well as grocery and frozen items from established kosher brands like Manischewitz, Osem, and more!
Kashrus
KosherMart is supervised by the world-renowned Rabbinical Council of Greater Washington, more popularly known as the Vaad (Click here to visit the Vaad website). A mashgiach is always available during business hours to ensure that Kashrus standards are strictly enforced.
Growth
Due to kosher products having higher standards for quality and safety standards, demand for kosher foods have increased! Not only is kosher food a staple among many Jewish households, but all communities are beginning to embrace the benefits of kosher foods. To accomodate this demand, KosherMart moved to its new 20,000 square foot location on 4860 Boiling Brook Parkway in the Randolph Hills Shopping Center.

Today, KosherMart is undoubtedly one of the largest retailers of kosher goods in the entire mid-Atlantic region. We feature 14 aisles of frozen, dry, and refrigerated goods from kosher brands as well as many name brands. Fresh produce arrives everyday at low prices to make sure your home-cooked meal stays fresh as well as on budget. Our state-of-the-art facilities also give us the ability to produce delicious homemade goods. Out bakery sells challahs and pitas by the thousand every week! Our meat and poultry department receives fresh product every day and is ready to fill your needs.
